汉语版《大理上下四千年》集历史性、文学性与通俗性于一体．出版后受到广大读者的好评。译者现以统一规范的语义概念、恰当的翻译策喀、正确的文化立场予以全书英译．并以此纠正目前有关大理历史文化的英译资料或英语著速中因译者文化误读而产生的（译语文本中）概念混乱、用词缺乏统一性、史料失真、政治立场偏向等问题，对提升民族历史文化的对外交流与传播将会产生极大的推动作用。
作者简介：
卜绍先，1963年2月出生，籍贯大理鹤庆。1984年7月毕业于云南大学外语系英语语言文学专业，获英语语言文学学士学位。1988年9月赴北京大学英语系访学一年；1996年4月获国家公派资助赴澳大利亚维多利亚拉筹伯大学（LaTrobeUniversity）访学一年；2003年3月获地方公派资助赴
